a team, etc. be taught and learned effectively and directly exercised in action, as well as individually reflected? We therefore have developed a unique management concept called “White Water
It means a new, holistic teaching method that combines modern management knowledge with an action-oriented approach on white water. This approach leads even beginners through the experience of white water straight to the core tasks of management.
The course gives fundamental considerations of strategic thinking, planning, organizing, decision making, leading, controlling and other implications of management practice. The application of management principles and techniques will be trained in specific white water situations. You will be responsible for your boat as a metaphor for your responded unit within a group of kayakers on a white water river. Further topics are: Strategy in white water as an example for an unsecure, changing environment, decision making, taking responsibility for risk prevention, safety strategies, team management, motivation, communication, leadership, failures. It’s about skills, not about muscles!
